Beneva is the programme-defining partner of the Canadian Philanthropy Awards. Their support makes it possible to recognise community contributions in cities and towns across Canada each year.
Beneva is a mutual insurance company headquartered in Quebec, with a long history of operating in the interest of its members and their communities.
Beneva is not involved in the selection of honourees. All selections are made by Community Foundations and, for national recognition, an independent national committee.

Community Foundations of Canada
Community Foundations of Canada is the national membership body for community foundations. It works with over 200 member foundations in communities of every size across the country.
Community Foundations are locally governed, independent organisations. Each foundation selects its own honourees, ensuring that recognition is rooted in local knowledge and community relationships.
